Superintendent

Responsibilities & Duties

  1. Mediate between Clients and Sub Contractors to find workable solutions that appeal to both parties
  2. Create estimates for build-out projects, including labor, supplies, materials and other ancillary costs
  3. Drive cost-effective project management techniques and strategies in the field
  4. Hire and assign construction work to each project
  5. Maintain a daily job site log
  6. Coordinate all construction services and activities
  7. Maintain strict build-out construction schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met
  8. Weekly Reports on Progress of Projects with Pics to be sent thru email to the Project Manager.
  9. Follow all OSHA Requirements.
  10. Must turn in all receipts pertaining to the project.

Qualification & Experience

  1. 2+ years’ experience as Superintendent in construction Industry.
  2. Experience working on smartphones and tablets
  3. CAD experience a plus
  4. Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
  5. College Degree in Construction Can be offset with Experience, Prefer 4 years degree in college.

Accounting

Education:

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in the field of accounting or other related field. Experience may be considered as a substitute for this requirement.

  1. Must Know how to use Quick Books.
  2. Fluent In Spanish and English.
  3. Minimum 2 Years Work Experience.
  4. Construction Accounting Background Required.
  5. Ability to access and accurately input information using Quick Books.
  6. Must have considerable knowledge with basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.) and accounting functions. Job cost and construction experience will be key for this position.
  7. Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision.
  8. Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
  9. Must have excellent organizational skills.
  10. Must be proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook applications.

Qualification & Experience

  1. 20% • Handle and process all aspects of construction payables, including coding, processing contract award work sheets and maintenance of the job cost chart of accounts.
  2. 15% • Process contractors payment applications for monthly billings
  3. 15% • Assist in the preparation of loan draws and capital calls from both Joint Venture partner and parent company.
  4. 15% • Assist in the preparation of Joint Venture, Lender and company financial reporting requirements.
  5. 15% • Perform monthly close and related journal entries, using Quick Books.
  6. 15% • Monthly review of job cost activity ensuring consistent and proper coding.
  7. 5% • Monitor fixed asset activity in detail. Generate month-end depreciation and amortization entries.
